Sick and No Motivation.

So, I woke up yesterday morning feeling a bit under the weather. Yay me! I got to spend Valentines day sick and without my husband because he is still on the road.

I have not posted anything to either one of my sites since the 12th. Yesterday was the day I was suppose to write for one of them and today was the day I was suppose to write for another one, but I just can't stay focused on anything today.

I know, how are you writing this blog post if you can't focus on writing content for your site. Well because writing this does not take my concentration of doing the research I do before I write my articles and I just can't concentrate to do the research.

I still feel like crud today. Don't know what I have but I really wish that it would go away. I hate being sick.

It actually has me a little worried because I have also seen my rankings drop. I had 1 post that was on page 1 position 2, but it was only for like 2 to 3 days. Now it isn't even on the first 20 pages. Ugh!!!

What do you do when you are sick and need to write content for your sites?

What do you do when you feel discouraged and start losing your motivation?

Good for you! Rest well.

Be kind to yourself an take a break :)

If you are feeling sick, just take a break. You don't have to work on your website if you don't feel like it. This is one of the reasons why we want to do affiliate marketing.

I listen Earl Nightingale's CD " Lead the Field". It puts me right on the track. Take care of yourself. The health is a most important thing. You can not buy it for all world's money. Business can wait:)

If you are frequently sick, consider taking at least 2000 IU daily of vitamin D3 and see if that helps.

Thank you for that recommendation. What exactly is it for? I am not frequently sick, but I do have other health issues that extra vitamins might help.

Vitamin D3 has a strong impact on the immune system. It also helps with bone health and dental health.

Hi Kristena,
I'm just going to reiterate what the others are telling you. Put the website on the back burner for a few days and get the rest you need. Your system needs to refresh or reboot or whatever you want to call it. Your websites and blogs will still be there. Wishing you a full and speedy recovery of mind, body and spirit!

Hey Kristena
Take the down time needed to get better. Your content is important, however your health comes first. Stop feeling guilty, and allow yourself the care you deserve, you'll get better much faster. :)
Blessings
Joseph

Hi,
I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. I totally understand writing this blog post instead of your own content. Sometimes we need to just take a breather, especially when we're not feeling well.

Don't beat yourself up, girl. Take a moment to heal and rest and get to feeling better. Maybe keep a notebook next to the bed or couch to jot down ideas that may strike you while you rest. But let it be okay to take a break for yourself when needed. Mental breaks are important too.

Personally, when I'm sick, stressed, burnt out, overly...anything really, I take a break from it. Sometimes just walking away for a little bit works wonders. That's probably not what you want to hear. But it really works sometimes, especially when ill. If I feel up to it, I'll write it out while I lay down. Or I'll get up and write bits and pieces in between naps. I just don't push it too far.

I think blogging about it when you're not feeling motivated will help. Especially here where the community is so caring and helpful. When I'm looking for motivation, I read blogs of other members and it usually only takes 1 or 2 for me to be inspired and motivated again.

I hope you get to feeling better really quick...sending well wishes your way. Rest up.

~Kris

Do not sweat your website. Just recover and get better and when you are feeling better, you will be all that much stronger to plow through the training and the writing.
