Live Chat.
Well of all the topics on WA the hardest by far for me to get my head around, is the 'Live Chat'. I wonder if I've missed a key bit of site training just because...
- I don't get it?
I don't even understand WHERE the start of the conversation is and in trying to find it I feel like I'm eavesdropping!
- It moves TOO fast!
I have MS and find it difficult to process things that are fast moving, especially when it's all new to me.
- Where do my questions go?
I've asked several questions, but cannot see any answers ~ unless I directly email someone.
Maybe I'm just being slow? Afterall until a few months ago I'd only regularly used the internet for emails and facebook. It took me a while to get my head around messenger; but then went on to hold a committee meeting using it, when we couldn't meet up physically.
I don't like moaning so let me think of something constructive to finish with. Oh I know, I absolutely love being a part of WA, although I've said this before, it's just because I love reading other people's blog/pages/websites/experiences

Hi Jacqui, I suggest you don't use Live Chat if it moves too fast for you or if it's difficult for you to follow because of your MS.
Use "Ask A Question" instead, which is located under the Pen Tool bar on the top right next to your rank.
Live Chat is a continuous loading of people "talking" to one another and if you ask a question and don't wait for your answer, you will miss it as others will write in there and will push your question and people who answered you all the way down the chat. You can still find it but you have to scroll down it. I think you can scroll down to about 3 hours of chat.
I'm certain the questions you've asked have been answered but you just didn't know to scroll down to look for it.
I hope "Ask A Question" will be better for you which is a post you do and others will answer you (the earth icon will turn green or under Activity Dashboard > My Notifications) and you'll get notified when people answers. :)

Thank You ~ There are so many things to learn on here 'outside' the actual lessons, but lovely there are so many people to offer help and advice.
Live chat can be challenging at times. Ask a question in the threads or on your personal blog page here at WA. Finish the question with a question mark and it will get added to the question que that shows in the classrooms.
