Amazon affiliate links don't work for me
Well, it frustrates me. Really. And I am trying my best, to review, to recap, to reread, to re watch every video or training of adding affiliate links, and Amazon always, always makes this mission impossible for me. For today's post on my page, I did the editing in Word Press and I had to use "add media" button (even though I didn't want to insert a picture, just the text) to add the link. And yes, it is successful, but I didn't want it like this, I wanted only a text! Not the graphic, because I don't like the graphics, I simply want to add link in text. And I have no idea what am I doing wrong, because I can do all of this with other affiliate links, but not Amazon. So far, the only thing that really frustrates me is their affiliate links. I wrote them an email, so I will wait for them to help if they can, but I have to ask here in the community, is there anyone else has Amazon problems?

Hi - not sure if you have seen this video, but it really is the easiest to follow. Short Video On Adding Amazon Links To A Post The first section explains how to add just a Text link, by highlighting a word in your post.
Later in the video, it shows you how to add an Image link or a Text + Image link.
Not sure why you are using the Add Media button - that is never used for Amazon links.
When inserting Amazon links, you always have to use the HTML code they supply you through the Site Stripe bar.
Diane, thank you. I do all of this explained in the video, and nothing. Error 404 or similar :( I tried Add media, and it worked, but I didn't want any picture, just text. And I don't know what am I doing wrong, since I do these steps showed in this video.
I tried again. It worked now. I don't get it :( really. I always do all the steps, and now when I did it again, it worked! Maybe I needed to write this blog question here to make it work? haha, I know, it's strange, but I really don't know what is happening. Because this is always and only with Amazon links. Hi - I just took a look at your website, as you have it on your profile page.
In your latest post, you have added an Amazon Text link to an LP, and it works absolutely fine.
