Who am I

In 1987 I was employed at a small manufacturing business of 25 people including management. I reported to the owner as assembly manager. I was injured in an accident losing most of my index finger on my right hand. I received a sum of $6,000 because of the accident. I decided to invest this small sum in a business. I did my due diligence investigating different business opportunities that were available from different sources.

How do you last over 20 years in a business?

• Most businesses fail within the first year. Learn to take advice and pay attention to detail. Pay attention to the experts and ask questions. (Sound familiar)
• Expand your business slowly. Re-invest and grow your resources. This will help you expand. (Patience)
• Never...Never stop learning or training. More profit comes from efficiency. Efficiency comes from using the tools that you have... wisely. (Learn how to use the tools)
• Stay Focused And Committed. (My favorite two words and add to those Persistent)

Grow at a steady pace. Don't surpass your level of competence. It will only lead to quick failure. (Once again, be patient)
