Patience and perseverance is the Key

I'm currently working on my biggest post so far. I read Dylan Rieger's tutorial on how to make 4-figure websites and have decided to try his methods.

He promotes that 'best of' lists is a secure way to target thousands of potential clicks. The posts have to be between 3000-7000 words (which is a lot if you ask me!) and they have to discuss 10, 15 or even 20 products.

Right now I'm on 2750 words and have spent the past 2 days getting this far and the biggest obstacle is patience. Until now my posts have taken 2-4 hours writing but these huge lists take a lot longer before they're ready to be published.

Anyways, I should get on with my writing. A tiny step closer to the finish line for every minute spent on researching and writing.

I would love to hear how long it normally takes you to write a post?

Oh Jonas, 400 words in English is enough to make me smile at the momment.
If the road to make it happen is more then 1000 words, I'll keep on trying eventhough have to crawl as a non English speaker. Atleast 1 road is opened.
Wishing you much success on your journey.

Cheers

Hi Krisna,

I'm certain you will improve your English writing very fast here on WA.

English isn't my primary language either so I don't "think" in English terms.

This might also be why it takes a bit longer for us non-English/Americans to write these posts.

Keep working on it and you'll see great results. I'm cheering on you!

I don't stay interested in posts that are too long!

I have to say it's a big mouthful yes. And it was very hard to stay disciplined. Took a lot of breaks in the process! :-)

That is a lot of work. To be honest, I am not sure I would read a 3000-7000 word post ... even with lots of pictures. I appreciate the concept, but, at least in North America, we are moving away from a reading society. I can see a post with the #of product & pictures, but not the number of words. Let us know how this works for you.

I agree with you! I'll let you know about the progress. :-)
