the need for social interaction

With COVID, my social interaction has decreased dramatically. I find that I am mainly interacting with family members at home, through phone calls, online business meetings, emails, and of course online. I find the existence of this community at Wealthy Affiliate goes a long way to connecting me, in this somewhat lone blogging pursuit, to have social interaction.

One way that the WA community helps is simply by having training. I have spent a good bit of time with the training, including implementing what I am learning. I also have found that when I get stuck, help is just a quick message away, and that has been reassuring!

I have been at it for about 7 months now. My biggest effort has been in generating content. I have generated over 50 posts, which I understand from the messging on the WA platform is (calculated by words) more than 99% of other members. I am not sure how that can be, but that is what it says.

I am proud of the content I have produced and think it can be helpful to people - specifically project managers, and secondarily to managers of all types - but the reach is very limited. The jury really is still out. I am getting 15-20 unique visitors daily now, which seems very low for this point. I have gotten one comment - and have not used WA members for commenting - yet.

I find that I have just a couple of posts that account for the lion's share of my traffic. I find that strange and don't know what to attribute it to yet. I have reviewed those posts vs others and do not see a huge differentiator.

I take solice, again, in the fact that I am not alone - that there is help out there, and that there is continued training and info. I am ramping up my social media participation, and trying to be careful to do that judiciously.
