my progress so far with 'The Strategic Project Manager'

Hi. This is my first post out here! I am pleased to be tied in with WA. It is extremely comforting to know I am not alone on this venture.

My progress thus far - My focus has been on creating posts, and I am now up to 19. I'm trying hard to stick to 2-3 posts per week, at least until I build out enough critical mass. I like the subject, so while doing the posts takes significant effort, I am learning a lot doing it and get some satisfaction from it.

My niche - I currently work in the project management field and have for quite a while. In fact, for over ten years I sold online training for PM certification and did very well for some years (until I could not overcome Google algorithm changes). I have found - and the profession itself finds - that employers demand project managers that can also think strategically. However, I find that there is a tremendous gap - even a firewall - between being a good project manager and being a strategic thinker. I am working to help close that gap.

Successes - I already mentioned my 19 posts - that's my greatest success to date. I'm taking the training slow but steady - just finishing up Part 2. I know my site has been indexed, but I have not even checked on traffic figures yet. I expect that the training will go in that direction soon.

Your plans and goals in the upcoming 3 months - I plan to continue publishing written content 2-3 times per week. I want the content to be high value, thought-provoking, engaging to my audience of project managers and related managers. During this three months, I would like to 'dial in' my site to get better at engaging more with my audience, and being responsive to what I lean that they need and want. At some point I think I will want to include interviews with people somehow as part of the content - not sure how to do that yet, and am not looking to start a podcast. I would like to get some relevant affiliate relationships going during this period and make at least a few initial sales.

Your plans and goals in the upcoming 6 months - I anticipate that this will be more of the same as the three-month goals, but with the site maturing more. At some point, I will need to evaluate just where I ultimately want this site to go, and I may hit a steady state, allowing me a little time to maybe start another site. But I need to get the first one dialed in before I do that, and would like to achieve some level of beginner's success.
