Working on my site

Today, as usual after checking and replying email messages I began to start working on my site. Feeling much better typing smoothly and feeling uplifting about today's progress.

Continuously typing for about an hour plus, suddenly the paragraph that I work on out of order and some also gone missing! First, time such things happen to me while building my site.

I checked my trash box, is not there. Then, I checked the plugin something need to be dated. So, I update.

Conclusion to my this experience:

1. May be I didn't update my site properly (even though I clicked the button "update") after I done with some typed paragraphs

2. May be because of the plugin I didn't update for about a week.

3. May be because I'm online for more that hours so, the door to my site is open to virus attack.

4. I have no clue, why?

So, what I did now I prepare the text using MS Word (finished the task), copy and paste to my site and click update. Because, take sometime for me to write good paragraph.

I gladly welcome any comment or suggestion.

Thanks

I also write in a different program outside of wordpress so that nothing is lost. Then copy, paste and edit what is needed.

That's true. I already started doing that since last week. Thanks for feedback.

I does help to run a malware scan and clean cache each day before you get started, I try to keep up with that myself.

Actually, I also do this daily. Thanks for feedback.

Coming from a word processing background back in the 80s, I learned how to hit save every other line. In the edit screen of WordPress, I click on save draft every time I finish a point. What you ended up doing, though, creating your content in MS Word, is the best method. Save often in Word, too. Then copy it over to WordPress. If anything happens, you still have your Word copy. Good Luck!

I like the idea to have a copy in MS Word. Thanks so much.

That's is too funny Carla, I know exactly where your coming from!

Did you try to get it back in the Revisions on the right hand side of your edit screen?
When I do my post, I click Save Draft once a while.
I think you might have accidentally hit a combination of buttons. Or the memory in your computer is not very good. It certainly is very strange.

I think I didn't click save draft. Thanks for help
