Hello! Yesterday I received an email from Amazon saying congratulations and welcome to their Affiliate program. As soon as I got the email I checked my Amazon Associates account and saw I made a sale. It was only a commission of .28 cents but I didn't care, I was just happy to make my first sale from an affiliate link!
I've made a couple dollars from Adsense so far, but this felt more exciting! It was kind of strange because the item purchased had absolutely nothing to do with my niche which is fitness. The customer bought a tire cleaner for their car lol. One of the things I like about Amazon is we can get credit for any item the visitor buys as long as they go through our link.
The timing was perfect because I've had my links posted for about 7 weeks now and was starting to feel a little down. However, soon after I got the email it definitely put a smile on my face. I'd just like to say if you're fairly new like me, continue to work hard and be patient and the system will work.
To close I'd like to use an analogy related to Neil Armstrong and the Apollo 11 space mission. It was one small sale for Amazon, one Giant leap for me! Take care and I wish everyone the best of luck!
