25 Years Later: Heal The Roots, Not Just Cut The Branches

9/11/2001 - 25 years later today (9/11/2026).

We remember. We will always remember.

R.I.P to every soul lost that day. Hugs and strength to every family, every first responder, every person still carrying the wounds.

But 25 years later, remembrance must become WISDOM.

For 25 years we have been brave at cutting the branches. Now we must be BRAVE ENOUGH to heal the roots.

The world and the USA must find the root causes.

What could drive any normal, sane human to such a horrible act? It is not because they were born monsters. It is because their dignity was crushed and their peaceful doors were closed.

What was, is, and will we do that made, makes, and will make others see us as an enemy? This is not blame. This is POWER. If we made enmity, we can UNMAKE it.

The policy "We can't negotiate with terrorists" taught us not to listen. When we refuse to listen, we close the door to peace.

The truth that can set us free:

No human would be an enemy unless you are their enemy first. Always.

No one is born your enemy. Enmity is built. And what is built can be dismantled.

The most powerful way to protect the people of America is to STOP BEING THE ENEMY FIRST.

Let us choose listening over labeling.

Let us choose healing over vengeance.

Let us break the cycle.

For the lives lost. For the lives still to come.

Never again must mean never again for EVERYONE.
