Changing the Font Size in your WordPress Theme VERY EASILY!
So I was playing around in wordpress and didn't like my font size. But the editor doesn't have a 'font size' option! I did a quick check on the plugins page and found the perfect solution..CKeditor. It's a plugin that changes the default editor to something with many more options. And, it only takes seconds to install.
Check out the DEMO here http://wordpress.ckeditor.com/?page_id=16
If you would like to install this plugin, just:
- Log into your WordPress Admin back office
- On the sidebar menu mouse over "Plugins" and click "add new"
- In the search bar, type in "CKeditor"
- Click 'install'
- Click 'Activate' and POW!
You now have a new editor to customize your wonderful webpages in many more way than the default editor allowed. i hope this helps you. If it does, please "like" this page.
Have a great day to you!

I think I'm still too much of a newbie to use this plug in. At first I thought it would be great, but it did some funny things that I explained below. I've found some additional threads advising caution with the CKEditor, that it may not be updated often enough to assure compatibility with the latest WP version 3.9.1.
Thanks John ... I've learned some things here, but I'm going to stick to the basics until I complete the training and am ready to publish my first website.
I took your suggestion, and had a little scare to start off. After I installed and activated my previously saved pages were gone. I copied over from my web and thought every thing would be ok.
But after doing some editing I hit update and kept getting a window asking if I wanted to stay on the page. Is this my browser or is it WP? The little saving icon next to update would not activiate.
The asking if you want to leave the page is wordpress. The save button wont be active if the post is already published. At least it never has for me.
Thanks, John! Just what I need. I'll install when I get back from an all day doctor field trip......;)
It's my pleasure. Just remember after you install it, you might have to activate it under plugins.
I agree with trialynn. TinyMCE. Works wonderfully. Alot you can do with it even though i use like 5 of the options availablee. They are the most important 5.
Can you change the size of the text in the menu and header with any of these? Or even better, set "paragraph" and all header sizes to specific font sizes so I don't have to go through all my posts and manually adjust the font size? That would be SWEET!
Glad you found what you needed. Most of our WA members use Black Studio TinyMCE Widget. You might want to compare them and let us know how you feel about each one.
Thanks Trialynn, I might do that. TinyMCE sounds very familiar. I always used the CKdemo when creating articles years ago so I jumped on it when I saw it was a WP plugin. I will check out tinyMCE though and tell you what I think.
