What is your “Why”
I know most of us to want financial freedom, but why do you want it?
Personally here is my wishlist (they are not in order of importance in my life… or is it?)
- Fully paid house and car – thank God I paid off my car, but getting and paying off a house here in Toronto is almost close to impossible if I am just doing a 9 – 5. LOL a detached 2 floor, 1 car garage here is more than $1 mil!
- Give back to my local church who supported me during my younger years – a time of my life where I don’t know why I am alive. I also want to sponsor as many kids in the 3rd world country via Compassion or World Vision
- I am a naturally curious person and I love to build things or even businesses. I need money to fund my expensive curiosity.
- I want to travel
- I don’t like being micro-managed at work.
What about you what’s yours?
This question might be trivial, but knowing what we want and why we are doing what we are doing can help us overcome lots of obstacles!
So go and share yours!

Your #1 shocked me. I didn't realize real estate was so crazy there!!!!
My why is three-fold......keep me active, extra money to supplement retirement and help others in need. I suppose we all have different reasons.

Yup. Most millenials only end up owning a condo here because they are cheaper.. about $400k plus for one bedroom.
I like your reason why you are doing it! I know you will succeed because you have a solid reason why you are doing this.
Ooof. Love it! Today is the perfect time to focus on WA because travelling is restricted then once this pandemic is done, time to reap your hard work!
Hi John, I will like to be able to give back to everyone who has been there for me.
Best wishes,
Michael
