Good day friends, I was just wondering if any of you have any advice on how to get articles indexed in google? I have submitted them to site maps, and requested indexing several times. I have also gone to site content writing platform, and clicked on the G. I have several posts, 20 something that have yet to be indexed. They are all the older posts from 2-3 months back. However the newer articles seem to get indexed within a day to a week. I do not know if I am doing something wrong. Any advice that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Hi John, first thing if you have submitted the url to the console and asked for it be indexed have you checked the url again in the console itself?

are you talking about the article or the site url? if it is the article url, yes I have several times. site url just the one time to get verified.

1

yes i meant the URL for the article in that case you could try and re request or look at the content , does it have too many affiliate links etc, the right key words or getting some coments could refesh it up a bit. Just a thought..

2

Some of the articles have no links in them, and if they do, there would be only one link per article with over 1,000 words per article.

1

Mmm not sure then John unless the no index is ticked on that article .. I have always added comments which seemed to work but sometimes they just don't. I had one the other day that was indexed from two months ago ...apologies fingers crossed

2

The no index was ticked, but I removed it once I found that it was the problem. Then re submitted it to sitemaps, and indexing, so I guess it's a waiting game now. Thank you for the replies.
