So yesterday Wednesday, I had a doctor appointment to get the results of last weeks test. I had to have a pet scan, to check the function of my heart. My doctor comes in and asks how I'm doing. I tell him of the side effects of that scan last week.

He says let me go look at the pictures from the pet scan. He comes back into the examination room and tells me that are some changes from last years pet scan. After which he starts to quikly write some notes down, and says to me that we will go in and take a look.

So, now, next Tuesday I am going into the hospital for a cardiac catherisation. It's not my first one, but it is the way that he said we have to look see, that has me a little bit woried this time. It has been a couple of years since the last time I had to have one of this procedure done.

I just hope that they do not find anything to seriuos while he is in there. For anyone that has ever had one of these angiograms done, you know about the obviuos risk. Which, is any time the doctor is in taking a look there is always the possibility of haveing a heart attack. The worst outcome of this test, is that I will have to have open-heart surgery. the best is that there may be nothing wrong, then there is the middle ground, I may have to have a stent put in place. i am hoping that Monday night is not my last sunset. I will keep you all posted. but, I will not know anything until Tuesday night.
