DREAM BIG. THINK BIG.

What is a dream?
1. A series of thoughts, images, and sensations occurring in a person's mind during sleep.
2. A cherished aspiration, ambition, or ideal.
When I was young in the early eighties, and had already started working for a construction company doing maintenance, I had a day dream. I was living in one room in the city. The room was a bedroom, seating room, kitchen and a bathroom, and the toilet was outside. During that time there were no flashing toilets. Not far from where I was living, along the road I would take walks. Every time I took walk I would pass by a big family house and this one time, I saw a man with his wife and children relaxing in the seating room. From that moment I started imagining myself having my own family and relaxing like them. My dream and desire was to have a family not a house. Therefore, I developed a positive thinking system and started to talk about it. My dream then my dream came into reality in 1988 when I got married and started my own family.
In 1995, there was a time when I was sleeping and started dreaming and visualizing myself driving. This dream occurred many times. In January 1996, I approached one of my best friends who had Isuzu van car and asked him to teach me how to drive. He taught me how to drive in 30minutes. From there I got behind the wheel and drove him. It was then when I discovered the greatest driver in me. The following week I went to book for a driver’s theory test and scored 100% and after two weeks I booked for road signs of which I also passed at first attempt. After a month, I booked for a road test. During this test, there were many people who would watch you when doing the test, and a lot of people failed right there. I did my test and the examiner told me to come and check my results the following day. On my way home from taking the road test, I passed by a shop to buy a driver’s license pouch for myself because I knew in my mind that I passed the test. The following morning I went to the post office where I was instructed to go check my results at and mind you, I was caring my new driver’s license pouch with faith and a positive mindset. People were shocked to see me holding my pouch and asked me, ‘how do you know that you passed?”. When it was my turn to collect, the officer was laughing at me seeing that carried my driver’s license pouch with me. I told him that I came for my license collection and he gave it to me. I saw most people who came for the same reason as me crying they had failed two, three and five times and thereby did not collect theirs.
I can tell you more. But lastly, I used to dream about flying in an airplane during my nineties, flying to US. I would visualize seeing American high big buildings. In 2001, my dream manifested when I flew to Ohio for a general church leadership meeting. Then during break time, I took a walk alone to take in the scenery of the surrounding area and whilst I was at it, I saw the exact same building I saw in the dream I had in the nineties. I was so excited to see my dream come true.
When you dream, it means that you are alive. Have a dream and think big. Sometimes big dreams can terrify you and that alone is a sign that it is real and an indication that you should work hard towards fulfilling the dream.
DREAM BIG. DREAM BIG. DREAM BIG AND THINK BIG. THINK BIG. THINK BIG.
I trust you are motivated to dream and be able to see your future.
