The Bumpy Road

As bad as I hate to admit I have choose this bumpy road. I should have just stayed on the nice gentle up hill grade. But no up and down I go. Off into construction on my site that I did not need to be in at the time. I didn't do anything on my site for several months. When, I Stopped working I had gained a little traction with the search engines. Had some posts ranking on page 3 with google. Well I should say my google + posts was and of course they were linked back to my site. I had a lot better success with Bing. Had two posts on page one with Bing. I did have other business going on that had to be taking care of. With better time management and getting organized, I could have avoided completely stopping work on my site. So when, I was able to get back to my site I was expecting to have to start at zero. That was not the case posts were still ranking with Bing not page one but ranking. Still had 67 posts indexed with google give or take. That was down from seventy some. Google ranks everything posts, comments, and pictures.

Real Happy Did Not Lose What Work I had done

I have had some success with google adsense, affiliate commissions and the big one personal achievement which I am most proud of.

So back to work and enjoying it have some posts on page one with Bing still trying with google but not doing to good with them.

I have set a goal of posting one blog per week for now.

And staying on track with the training.

Traffic

The most of my traffic came from Bing ads. My traffic goals are to get 1000 per month within the next 6 months.like Kyle says 1000 divided by 30 is only 33 visits per day. Then divide the 33 by 10 posts each post would only have to get 3 visits a day. So if I had a 100 posts indexed and ranking a 1000 visits a month is not that big of a goal. I think I just talked myself into blogging more.

Affiliate commission also came from Bing ads. I almost broke even which is o.k. because I did get some traffic and engagement too. I have paused my ad until I can get some better converting content up. No need in wasting my $100.00 worth of free Bing ads. I had to spend $25.00 to get the $100.00. I did make back my $25.00. Bing ad sales people are a pleasure to work with they will help you.

Do The Training

Get organized from the beginning and be consistent with your blogging and you will see some success. Everybody will go at a different pace and that is o.k. I don't know about you but if I can't enjoy the process it will not work for me. The training here at Wealthy Affiliate is the best. So have fun and make some money at same time, If an old truck driver can do it than I know you can.

I apologize this blog is kind of haphazard. Progress not perfection right.
