I write this for myself as much as I write it for anyone else who ever becomes overwhelmed or unmotivated.

One thing I have noticed a lot of newer people complaining about here at Wealthy Affiliate is being overwhelmed by the amount of information to learn when you are first getting started. Just do one step at a time and keep going. When you get lost or have questions, use the search bar at the top to type in what you are looking for, or use the live chat bar to the side to see if someone is on who can help. Make friends/follow people who have been here longer and have more experience and success, and learn from them.

I'll be honest, I still have quite a bit of training to go through.... I am slacking, and that's why I need to motivate myself here.

I understand that if you want to make money from working at home, you will have to put in some actual dedication and time so you can learn and build your business to become successful in the long-term. You will have to keep your self motivated. You will have to also be patient.

At first, my biggest problem was staying committed and keeping myself motivated. After a long day at work, I would get home and the last thing I wanted to do was start working on a website or go through more training, either here or anywhere else on line. I would be exhausted from the day and I just wanted to relax. I realized there was no way I would ever make this work for me if I didn't motivate myself.

I made sure I would at least dedicate a certain amount of time per week to my website and to the affiliate training here. Anytime I become unmotivated, I think of the job that I hate, and I remember why I wanted to learn how to create a business online in the first place.

My new goals... at least every other day
