In today's hyper-connected world, a website is no longer a luxury – it's a necessity. Whether you're a seasoned entrepreneur, a freelancer just starting out, or even a hobbyist with a passion to share, a website is your digital storefront, your online calling card, and your 24/7 marketing machine.

Here's why you absolutely need a website:

  1. Establish Your Online Presence: In the digital age, if you don't exist online, you essentially don't exist. A website is your digital headquarters, the first place people will look for information about you or your business.
  2. Build Trust and Credibility: Let's face it, we judge businesses based on their online presence. A professional website instantly boosts your credibility. It shows you're serious, organized, and invested in your brand.
  3. 24/7 Accessibility: Your website is your tireless salesperson, working around the clock. Potential customers can browse your services, read testimonials, and make inquiries at any hour of the day or night.
  4. Total Control Over Your Message: Your website is your canvas. You dictate the message, the branding, and the overall customer experience. No middlemen, no algorithms – just pure, unfiltered expression of your brand.
  5. Cost-Effective Marketing: Compared to traditional advertising (think print ads, billboards), a website offers incredible value for your marketing dollars.
  6. Build Your Email List: Your website is a powerful lead magnet. Offer valuable content (like free ebooks, checklists, or webinars) in exchange for email addresses. This builds your email list, allowing you to nurture leads and stay top-of-mind with your audience.
  7. Track Your Results: Website analytics provide invaluable data on website traffic, user behavior, and the effectiveness of your marketing campaigns. This data-driven approach helps you refine your strategies and maximize your return on investment.
  8. Showcase Your Expertise: Whether you're a photographer, a writer, a designer, or a consultant, your website is the perfect platform to showcase your portfolio and demonstrate your skills.
  9. Boost Your Search Engine Rankings: A well-optimized website improves your search engine rankings (SEO). This means you'll appear higher in search results, making it easier for potential customers to find you online.
  10. Level the Playing Field: In the digital realm, a small business can compete with the big players. A website gives you a powerful online platform to reach your target audience and compete effectively.

No more excuses! Building a website is easier than ever before. Numerous website builders and platforms make it simple to create a professional online presence, even with no coding experience.

So, what are you waiting for? Take the leap and claim your digital space. Your website is waiting to be built!

All good points. They also say you don't really need a website. You know what I see people using on TikTok that made me think? Link Tree! Im thinking about trying it once I start my product reviews.

What's your take on LinkTree?

How is linktree used?

Hey, Mike,
I just heard of it now. What's Link Tree?
I find TikTok so funny (or most videos) and that keeps me off. I tried it a few times when friends suggest, or even recommend I use it to market/promote my Amazon books, but I failed.

I become too funny whenever I tried to share a short video there about any topic, mostly because my mind can't think of using it for professional or business-related videos, but funny shorts. I need to rethink, though.

Blessings,
John

It's a fact that you can make $ online, sometimes into the 10's of thousands, without having a website. However, all the big players have a website.

For ex: Some people make $ through videos on platforms like Youtube. Now if you lookup how much revenue Youtube made (which is a website and operates on servers), their 2023 revenue was $31.5 billion.

As long as it's done correctly and how Wealthy Affiliate teaches you, it's always a good ideal to have a website, even if it's just info about your business and/or about a product you're heavily promoting.

Mark, Link tree uses a single link to then show all or most of your links to your sites...etc. I use the free version.

Mel

Ah, more like a digital business card!
Thanks for sharing, Mel.

Blessings,
John

You are most welcome John.

You gotta be serious about it. I’m gonna try. I have an account for my POD site but am going to use another account for my amazing affiliate site.

I agree that you do need a website but it’s not compulsory. My 19 year old daughter laughs at me when I tell her about domain and website. She said you don’t need it.

Link tree just like it says. You put links and edit the wording same way you do a normal link. You get a page and name it your business or what ever product you promoting and you put a bunch of links to products.

That’s your Mel?

Yes Mike

Mel

Yeah, I tried. I'll give it a try again to see. Even YouTube is so much an issue with me. Maybe because I didn't give it time and effort. I have issues finding a video editing tool to trim things out.

Blessings,
John

I see. Then share the master link which contains other links?

John

Mel just shared his link tree. I will do one soon.

Also, why you didn't space out your post? Its killing my eyes. Just edit it. LOL
