My journey began in Juba, flew through Addis Ababa, then landed in Shanghai, the financial capital of China. From there, I headed west to the historic heart of the nation: Xi’an. On the way back, I passed through Guangzhou, returned to Addis, and finally touched down again in Juba.

But this wasn’t just a round-trip flight.
