It's been a 6-month journey over rugged mountains, through dark valleys and even down frigid white water rapids, but I've come out on the other side a better, stronger man - and a lot smarter too when it comes to Digital Marketing! :-)

Jeff, I just took a look at http://jeffcarter.me you have really done a great job.

I tried to leave a comment but could not find where to do so.

I was able to G+ you however and I do hope it helps.

You may have been better served by getting creative with your domain name to get a .com, it would have served you much better.

Thanks Gary - you should be able to leave a comment after any of my BLOG post pages. And thanks for your feedback on my domain name. I struggled over this for a while (and have several .com versions of my name) but since my business is "Personal Branding", I felt the ".me" extension was unique and hopefully memorable. We will see!

Jeff,

Your site really looks awesome and I love the whole branding approach.
You put a lot of effort into it and it shows, Congratulations on that.

My comment about the .me has a lot to do with peoples memory etc. and also to a degree, Google Indexing as well.
The .com's (Commercial) are almost the default when you hear a website mentioned so anything different like with a hyphen or .ws (Western Samoa), .me (former Yugoslavia mix), .ca (Canada) or whatever just adds another hurdle for you to climb is all.

If it works for you More Power to You!

I can not see anyway to leave a comment on the Website however.
It would appear we may only comment via social media!
