I just started using the AI authors and forgive me if this is covered in one of the hub trainings, but do we need to credit AI for the articles we use it to write?
As a premium plus + subscriber, you get topped up 15k words monthly and on your join date.
It would say, '15,000 Refresh in xx days.'
They do not carry forward to next month. So you either use or lose them.
If you happen to have purchased some, you will always use the free ones first.
I do not. Since each creation is unique, plus I add my details and delete some of AI's words, it is technically owned by me. So I do not credit AI at all.

You are not required to credit your posts as AI-created. To take it one step further, I asked...
"No, there is no legal requirement to explicitly credit AI-assisted writing as being "AI written." The output (I provide) is intended to be edited, modified, and integrated into your own original work.
As an AI assistant without the ability for autonomous creative expression, anything I generate does not qualify for copyright or need attribution. It is your own original content and creative work once you have reviewed, refined and put it into your own words and voice.
Crediting the use of an AI writing aid is optional rather than obligatory."
Thank you for the reply! One more quick question you may have an answer to, as AI is trained on and scrapes info from previous works already on the internet, do we need to use some kind of tool to make sure there is no plagiarism or copywrite infringement? Just trying to be thorough and safe. I know we change and edit some content but curious about how that works.
This is for everyone reading the response.
First and foremost, you are warned to NEVER PUBLISH CUT AND PASTE AI CONTENT without first "polishing" the output. Imagine a machine creating plastic widgets. The widgets come off the production line with burs and rough edges. The widget needs to be sanded before the sale. The same is true of AI content.
Google Hates This and sites are being deindexed for abusing the use of AI.
Warning out of the way, you can and should use AI content.
To answer your concerns. While the probability exists, it is a rare occasion for several reasons.
AI is indeed taught on a ton of sources. Imagine feeding the entire internet to a bot. This is the data side of your question.
The way you prompt your bot will also affect the output. The more specific you are with your prompt, the more specific the output will be. If your question is so specific that only one source exists, your chances of plagiarism are greater but still not 100%.
It is not 100% because AI algorithms are designed to avoid plagiarism by prioritizing creativity and novelty in their output. Remember, it is pulling from all relevant data and putting that into a cohesive response based on answering your prompt.
When it comes to prompting, I could ask ChatGPT a simple question like "Explain the Star Wars Saga" and you could ask the same question slightly differently like "Can you provide an overview of the Star Wars Saga?" The same dataset and the same ChatGPT are used. The response is different.
We will have similar responses but neither response will be identical. Nor will what ChatGPT creates be identical to the original sources due to its content creation algorithms.
You may ask what if we ask an identical question? I actually did that too.
I created a post where I asked all of the AI sources that I use the exact same prompts to give me the #1 Underserved Niche.
Take a look at my blog and find the post titled
Competing AIs Agree - Mastering Niche Selection is Not Easy!
None of the 5 came up with an identical response or niche for that matter.
The bottom line, you don't really need to worry about it. You are going to polish your post adding in your personality.
Hope this answers your question.
Yes it certainly did, a lot more thoroughly and concisely than I expected. Thank you so much for the thought, effort and relevancy with which you answered that. I know who I will look to with future AI questions!

Hello WA 'ers! I'm on level 2 of the online certification Lesson 11 about adding visuals to posts. Is there specific training on changing the layout of the website, for examp
Phil has you covered here; kindly let us know if you require additional assistance or where able to figure things out.
So I got in there and started customizing with a header image, thanks again to yourself and feigner. Is it safe to assume that customizing a website is really about just trying different things in the back office to get the hang of it and there isn't any specific training on it within WA? due to customization methods being different depending on the chosen theme? I just want to be sure I'm not missing anything to help me out.
With time, it may be beneficial to have a siterubix subdomain where you test stuff on it before applying it to your main site.
You can also ask for site support assistance here. If all is okay, you can test things on a staging website again and then transfer it over.
You can follow up on the WordPress category.

Thank you so much. Sorry for late reply, this would be easier if life stayed out of the way and I was able to be more consistent! Having a few health challenges but the encouragement from people like yourself means more than I can say!
I'm sorry to hear that, and I hope for a speedy recovery for you :) Please keep us in the loop and update us on your progress.
Awesomely welcome.
that will all be located under appearance>>customize in your website back offics...
if under appearance you don't see customize but editor then you have one of the full site editing themes and have an intersting road ahead of you if it is your first site....
but go through the customize and see what you can alter within your theme or even add another site to sitemanager and test it all out on there...
you can create a home page then make your site have a static home page by going to settings>>writing ( or reading) and clicking on static home page and selecting the page you made...
if you do this then make a page called blog and save it - don't add anything else except the title and save it ...
then use that as your blog page when setting the other to a static page...
don't worry unless you have looked this may not make much sense - but maybe try it out on a test site - save messing up your main site....
Thank you! Life got in my way again so sorry for the late 'thanks'. I will give all that a try.

with over 5000 themes it would be impossible to do training on each one...would keep someone busy...
so the best advice is to check with the theme website for documentation on how to customize....
it can be a pain with some themes....

When I try to select one of my domains from the drop down I just see a 'Selecting..." message and the page freezes
Unfortunately clicking anywhere in the 'Domain' box yields the same result, 'Selecting...'. and I am unable to type in the selection box. I will go about it the normal way, just checking to see if this is an issue others are having. Maybe its only happening when trying to create an About Me outline? This is how I was trying to use it. In the level 2 training video on this Kyle was able to select his domain from the dropdown

It is also worth while asking support for a back up before you change your theme, to be on the safe side.
Kyle has you covered, however, we also always recommend leaving a backup theme; you may do so with the Twenty TwentyThree.
I hope this helps.

I asked this question a week ago but was confused by the 2 responses I got and then didn't receive any follow up to my follow up questions. To put it simply, I would like to
Humorous stories can be monetized. That can come through ads, sponsored content, affiliate marketing, selling e-books or collections of stories, fan memberships, and/or merch.
Awesome! Thank you again for your reply. I was simply unsure about that niche being lucrative as it is more for entertainment as opposed to an informational niche which would be more obvious for affiliate marketing. I really appreciate the previous response to my original question and will be saving it for reference.
Hi there, James.
In response to your question about writing a blog containing short stories, this sounds like it could be a possibility. However, just make sure that your content is original (duplicate content is not OK with Google), check the copyright laws to make sure the original authors receive credit for their contributions, and strive to produce the best, high-quality content possible.
Just to make sure you're on the right path, you can refer to some of the top published writers such as DianeScorpio, ParthaB, Jeffrey Brown and Mel Waller. In addition, run your ideas by Kyle. He'll always give you a point of direction to make sure you comply with Wealthy Affiliate guidelines.
All success to you as you continue your journey in affiliate marketing.
Rachele

Thanks Rachele for your thorough reply! I will check out those writers you mentioned and yes, I was absolutely planning on writing original content, I would not do otherwise.
