Categories on wordpress
Right now, I'm about to create a new post. Like usual, I choose the categories that will fit for my article. But for the first time, I hesitate.
No, it's not that I have to many categories to choose from. It's that I feel that I don't have enough of them. It looks like I always choose the same one post after post.
How many categories do you have? Do you think it's important to have has many as possible so that your reader can navigate on your site and find exactly what he/she is looking for?

It's important to put all your posts into certain category for easy navigation for your visitors as well as search engines crawlers. I don't think you need to create more categories for the sake of creating them i.e. if all your posts are related to one category, then you will have that one category. In many cases, you may need more than one.

We have four on one site, just use what you need the simpler the better. Remember Kyle said, it’s best to keep on 7 and 8 th grade level.

I also think too many will lead to more confusion than clarification.
However, if you are struggeling maybe the subcategories can help you.
Example: You have one called Books. Now you can ad subcategoris like Novel, Thriller etc. This will also be displayed like this for better overview.
