Vertical limit with WA

I’ve started rock climbing a few months ago purely to have a closer bond with my son, only to realize that it takes a lot of dexterity, determination and a strong stomach.

Rock climbing is no different in starting to learn the ropes in building an affiliate marketing business with WA.

As we are scaling up the wall or cliff, we see others ahead of us who have reached the top. There are some who started around the same time with us and are either below or ahead of us. We will see maybe a few scaling alongside us.

We see some others who have struggled and given up. Yet we see others who have made it to the top and making their way back down to look for new walls, cliffs or mountains to climb.

Cutting the rope

Having started with WA about 10 days ago, it is also reminds me opening scenes of the 2000 survival thriller movie "Vertical Limit" starring Chris O'Donnell and Bill Paxton. Chris had to cut the rope to lose his father in order to save his sister.

That is something that we have to do in life also. Sometimes we have to cut the ropes to things that are dear to us but wearing us down. Holding on to them will risk losing everything.

Today I cut my ropes to other businesses that are distracting me from my goals with WA.

Question is, can you?

"May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds" - Edward Abbey

What an awesome analogy Jeff. One thing I would like to add to this is that you when you see people coming back down from the peak of the mountain as they can give you advice on the best path, things to look out for, and offer you some motivation that you can do it!

It reminds me of the Chinese proverb:

"To know the road ahead, ask those coming back."

Creating a business online shares so many of the same characteristics to creating a business online and you have definitely point out a lot of these.

Thanks Kyle. Even more awesome that you take time to read it and engage with your fellow students.

I do agree with you to add coming back down from the peak of the mountains and advising on the best path to look out for.

HI, I love how you put rock climbing and WA in the same category - definitely does take dexterity, determination and a strong stomach.
Answer: Yes, I've already removed myself from many of the other people I followed for years and did not get as close to smelling success as I have right here at WA - cutting the ropes one by one.
Blessings in abundance
Linda

Thanks Linda. Cutting the ropes is painful but necessary. So we are climbing alongside each other ; )
God bless you on your journey upwards.
