Weekly Challenge: Design a Food-Themed Room With Image Studio!
Kyle said:
“Design a room based on a food theme.”
My brain said:
“Absolutely. I will behave.”
My imagination said:
“Not a chance.”
Here is the resulting chaos — a tour through every room concept I generated before finally choosing one for the contest. None of these is normally the actual entry. These are the experiments that… escalated.
1. The Cocoa Productivity Office
This started normally. Too normal.
A cozy brown office with a fireplace, notebooks, plush seats, warm lighting — the kind of place where you imagine yourself working peacefully until you realize you’re just staring at the fire for an hour.

Summary:
Productive. Calm. Normal.
This should have been the end of it.
2. The Writer’s Cocoa Den
Then things got interesting.
A cocoa-themed writer’s room with a mug-handle chair covered in marshmallow foam. Books everywhere. Typewriter drama. Warm amber lighting. The whole “writer at work” cliché in one room.

Summary:
Chocolate + creativity = dangerous combination.

3. The Hot-Chocolate Post-Apocalypse Refuge
Then my imagination said, “But what if the world had collapsed and the only comfort left was hot chocolate?”
So I built a cozy lounge in the middle of a ruined industrial complex.
Soft blankets, rusted steel, broken glass… and mugs of cocoa.

Summary:
The marshmallows would not survive this environment.
4. Retro Sci-Fi Green-Cheese Research Lab
This is where I lost control.
Retro equipment. Scientists in lab coats. Porthole windows looking out onto a glowing radioactive cheese moon. Cheese lamps. Cheese chairs. Cheese EVERYTHING.

Summary:
Probably violates several intergalactic food safety regulations.
5. Exterior Green-Cheese Observatory
Just when it couldn’t get stranger, I built a full moon base made entirely of cheese.
Cheese craters. Cheese terrain. Retro dome observatory.
And someone left olives and crackers on the control panel.
stares
Summary:
Snack station: operational.
6. Cheese-Wall Command Deck
Finally, I created a command deck built entirely from cheese blocks.
Retro consoles. A giant cheese moon outside.
One astronaut stares out the window, possibly questioning their career choices.

Summary:
This room smells like a deli counter.
Final Thoughts:
I fully intended to stay normal.
Kyle asked for a simple food-themed room, and my imagination took that as a personal challenge to derail my sanity.
In the end, one of these did become the basis for my actual submission — which is posted separately under the challenge thread — but this blog shows the full descent into cheese-fueled madness.
If the moon really were made of green cheese, NASA would need better air fresheners.
