Physical Transformation Update: I Fell Off, but I Have Not Quit

This update is late.
The truth is that I have fallen off since last April. I am still going to the gym, but it has gotten harder to stay consistent.
Sometimes life really does get in the way. Other times, I probably let life get in the way.
I am not saying that to beat myself up. I am saying it because there is no point in writing these updates if I am not going to be honest about what is happening.
I would rather be writing about steady progress and better results. That is not where I am right now.
I have not completely stopped, though.

Recently, I started working out with two younger men, Nate and Astin. I am following their workouts, but the weights are adjusted to what I can handle.
That is important because I am not trying to compete with them or lift what they lift. I am doing the same general exercises at my own level.
I also think working out with them may help me push myself harder than I would if I were working out alone. They know more about this than I do, and they are paying attention to what I can handle. We are taking it slowly while I establish my starting numbers.
I do not know yet what this change will lead to. It is too early to claim that I am fully back on track.
What I can say is that I am still going.
I have had setbacks. I have been inconsistent. I need to do better about recognizing the difference between life actually interfering and me allowing it to become an excuse.
But I have not quit.
For now, this update is not about pretending that everything is going well. It is about admitting that I fell off, while also recognizing that the physical transformation is not over.
