Congratulations for seeing what was best for your Mom. Your sharing took me back to similar situations faced in the past. When bodies are used up, it is time to let go. I hope my wishes are honored when it is me in that situation.

Be kind to your self as you go through the next few days, and adjust to life with out your Mom.

Sorry to hear this, but at least it was quick and not drawn out. An extended stay in hospice would have been terrible. I will leave you with a quote someone shared with me once and it made me think at the time I needed it.
