Honestly, I spent a bunch of time on social media but don't get much traffic to my site from it. I think it is much better to focus on adding content, and requesting comments at first. You will get MUCH more traffic to your site by requesting comments from WA member than from posting on social media.
So don't stress about it too much now. It is a good idea to add a post to social media each time you add a new post on your site, but you don't have to do much more than that for now...in my opinion. It won't hurt if you have the time though.
