so im on page 4 and 3 for two of my keywords...what do i need to do to make these rank higher?
Look at the tags and keywords used by your competition and use the same ones if they fit your site. That's what I did and it worked wonders. I even used one competitor's name as a keyword. Been on page one in my niche now for 3 plus months.
Quite often, they show up at the bottom of their blogs, or when you are searching, they show up there. That's where I found them anyway.

so the keyword i have searched for is great according to the wa tool but there is competition on google which im not sure if i will be able to outrank....

I would. I normally try to stick with what wa says atleast 50 traffic and under 300 qsr, but either way having content on your site is the most important anyway. Never know, you could move up the ranks in the long hual
