Back to the Basics — But This Time, I’m Building for Real

Hey WA fam 👋

It’s been a while — some of you might know me, others probably don’t. So here’s the short story:

I’m Jared Talbot. I joined WA in April 2020, right in the middle of COVID, hoping to carve out a freedom-based income stream while working a full-time job.

I learned the basics of WordPress, poured my late nights into building www.growmybitcoin.co.za and created a few other sites along the way. But if I’m honest… I never finished the training. Life got busy. I got distracted. And eventually, things just kind of… paused.

But here’s the thing:
That dream never went away.
If anything, it’s stronger than ever.

🔄 So What’s Happening Now?

I’m back — and this time with a plan, clarity, and purpose.

✅ I’m completing all the WA modules
✅ I’m getting active in the community again
✅ I’m rebuilding my brand from scratch
✅ And I’m combining my skills in crypto, AI, and tech support into something practical

But more than that — I’m here to tell you something real:

The website I built on WA and the skills I learned here literally carried my family through riots, job uncertainty, and relocation... all the way from South Africa to Ireland.
This platform worked — even when I wasn’t perfect with it.

🧰 My New Direction

Here’s what I’m working on now:

👉 New websites that help people understand and safely use crypto, tech, and AI
👉 A second site, Ascend Personal Growth, focused on health, mindset, and personal transformation
👉 Local tech support services — data recovery, laptop setup, virus protection, and basic IT rescue
👉 Helping small Irish businesses like plumbers and mechanics build better websites and attract more clients
👉 Teaching people how to use AI tools, build websites, and own their online space
👉 Offering real value — tutorials, setup services, and eventually digital products and courses

Whether someone wants to:

• Learn how to offramp crypto
• Keep their family laptop safe
• Build a proper online presence for their local trade
• Or finally understand how to back up their data...

I'm going to help them — and maybe help them discover something bigger along the way.

Because I want to connect again.

I’m starting fresh — but I’m not starting from zero.
