Progress and Affiliate Bootcamp

Website Progress

It is the 25th of December, 2017 as I write this blog post. The British Wildlife Facts website continues to grow steadily. It is a lot of fun posting articles about various plant and animal species native to the British Isles.

Thrive Architect makes formatting of each post comfortable, both in desktop and mobile view.

The site is now seven months old, and I await the time when a lot of natural traffic comes from the search engines and elsewhere. That may be a year away, So far my content under targeted keywords does not appear on the first page of the SERPs. When that starts - when British Wildlife Facts is deemed to be as authoritative - clicks on affiliate links scattered throughout the website ought to result in commissions.

Affiliate Bootcamp

I am now working on the Affiliate Bootcamp course. I suppose that is where big money can be earned here at Wealthy Affiliate.

I have obtained a domain name for the topic of quitting the rat race, the 9 to 5 drudge. It is https://nomoreratrace.net.

With my experience of building the BWF website, I find it easy to get going on this Bootcamp website. I am not using Thrive Themes and Thrive Architect for this one. I have a bog standard business theme and am populating the site via the WA Content Builder. That is in line with the teaching.

My advice to readers here is not to do the Affiliate Bootcamp course until experience with how WA works is first acquired. By building my niche website, I am now able to offer accurate reviews on how WA works.

I’ll see how things develop over 2018 and will report back here, hopefully with news of getting commissions by recruiting people to WA who are fed up with their lives of slavery.
