Every Day Storms with Roads Washing Away
Have not been able to blog much, as every day we are getting bad lightning storms with lots of rain.
Tomorrow is first day of school for the new school year and roads washing away.
This is road to my house, I came upon this in the dark night before last.
Today same thing again, the detour road washed away.
Drive home in pouring rain and wind from doctor appointment to down trees and wind blowing bad.
Made it home safely, waited on my daughter to come in with her boyfriend. It was raining so hard, they told me they saw blue ball of light and felt burning down their spine. They stopped safetly scared to come find out they drove over a down active power line. Ambulance was called to another passing vehicle that lost control.
Next 7 days supposed to be heavy rain at times, and thankfully no hurricane yet.

Yes, down powerlines are very dangerous. She called me very scared, and I was panicking praying for everyone to get home safe. My daughter had just gotten off work trying to get my place, as her place good 20-minute drive away more.
The only worries I have are winter time with dry ice and high winds and some of these old trees have big branches that go over the roads Between our house and our daughters
Yes, I look for schools to be canceled as too dangerous for everyone and school buses don't need to be out.
hehehe nice post. We had a random twirling wind yesterday for about 30 minutes. We thought something terrible was coming but it randomly stopped.
I wish was just little wind, instead of all this rain. We went from pure dry heat for two weeks with no rain, grass and plans die because so dry to all this rain.
That is my saying as well, when just a little water over any part of a road I turn around.
