Built me A Backlink
Good morning WAers
Who all has heard of ApSense? I recently joined as has amazing services, article writer, and referral program.
After researching and reading about what all ApSense can do, I submitted 2 articles. First article was Wealthy Affiliate review shorter version than my long version published on my website built here through WA. This article I carefully written it, so would not take away from my main website as I would like to the website main authority site.
The same day I published the WA review on ApSense, I received 2 referral signups, and one completed their profile setup.
This morning, I published another short article about WA referral program and the points system for discussion on ApSense with call to action back to my main site to get complete detail on WA program with my review.
By doing this built a back link to my website blog post that I wanted to boost in Google search.
Instructions you can follow:
Choose a blog post that you would like a boost on in Google. You can pick a pillar post that targets a competitive keyword. Backlinks to that page will strengthen your chances of ranking higher.
Don't copy your content from your blog post and paste on Apsense, as this will confuse Google. The article needs to write differently, like a content teaser. With a teaser it will give readers value and leave readers curious enough to click through to your website.
If you select a pillar post with well written content, the readers will stay engaged longer on your website to improve your ranking.
When adding external link to my website, don't use simple text like " click here" or read here, instead use your blog post title. This way Google understands exactly what your link is about. Anchor text helps pass both authority and keyword relevance to your site
When you sign up for ApSense your given Pro Account with points to use for publishing of articles. No need to buy start off with, you are given enough to try.
The research I did on Apsense, says Google crawls the site regularly. To not confuse anymore, ending this blog post for now.

No, not really, my website is still relatively new, so I've got lots of work to do to build authority/backlinks.
I know that backlinks help, but also learned early on to try not to force them, but just keep building content and connect with as many others within my niche as possible and overtime backlinks would come.
So it's not an area I've worked on directly, but certainly open to finding ways to generate some to build my websites authority.
Cheers
Cherie 😊
Thanks for the info Jannette, never heard of them, but will definitely check them out.

I would like to get started on this but I first have to create a pillar post. Or maybe I can look at all my posts and find out which one has the most engagement and develop that one as my pillar post? MAC
