Hi Guys

As it is Earth Day I wanted to place two questions to you today.

1. What are you doing to save our earth from degradation?
2. What are you going to do save our earth from degradation?

Think about what we use and consume on a daily basis and what small changes we can make on our end that will have a positive impact to our environment.

Did you know that of all the plastic that has ever been produced in this world only 9% of it has been recycled since 1950?

Have you heard of the 5 R's

• Refuse
• Reduce
  
• Re-use
  
• Recycle
  
• Rot
  

Refuse :

Be more mindful of accepting flyers or random handouts it just creates more waste.

Reduce:

Do you really need to go on a shopping spree at the mall and come back with all sorts of unecessary stuff made of plastic including clothing.

Re-use :

If you have glass jars that ar enow empty use it again and then go and dispose at proper recycle facilities or if you already doing it at home try and look at ways to re-use all your packaging.

Recycle:

I know the way in which these recycling plants are run are not the same in all the countries and in some places it really is shocking that we a sindivisuals get to that point to do our part and hen the system fails us , however that doesnt mean that we must stop.

Rot:

You can use al old coffee grounds or babana peels and egg shells as compost or if you dont own a garden or plants then take it to the composting heaps that need it

It was sad to learn that the planet still suffered over that past year during the global lockdown. One would have thought it would have been given a break but no instead what happened ... diposable masks that contained plastic invaded our iceans killing off precious marine life.
