Please Pray for Flood Victims

Hi everybody.

I don't know if this is where I should post this, but please pray for all the people in the Houston area. We are in a massive flood crisis and people's houses, cars and, I am sure, animals are flooding. They have evacuated many places including subdivisions not too far away from me. The mayor has asked everybody to stay hunkered down and be safe. When it rains here, it pours. It has rained all night and is expected to rain through Thursday (at least). Currently it has lightened up a bit, but we are expected to have more severe rains coming. I have been through this many times in the past. Fortunately, where I have lived (and currently living) we are safe. But neighborhoods around me are flooding. It's so sad. Thanks for all the prayers coming up. All the people in the Houston area, please be safe. God bless.

My prayers and thoughts are with the people of Houston.

Janice, thank you for your concern and prayers. We were close to "ground zero" for the brunt of the storm starting last evening. The loudest and closest lightning and thunder that I have ever heard, happened just outside.

Fortunately, we are all okay, but Willow Creek is still rising as of 5:30 today, and pray that any rain we get will have enough time in between storms to not cause it to rise any further. We also hope that you're all okay as well.

Thank you for caring,

We're fine. Can't believe with all the rain we got we didn't flood. My daughter had water come close to the house in Porter, but they were OK. I pray that the water everywhere doesn't rise anymore. It is so sad to see so many people displaced. Take care and be safe. God bless.

My prayers are with the people in Houston. I do hope the flood recedes very soon
