Find a Money tree!

We have a mindset that we acquire as we grow up.
I will give a example, I know two men named Tommy, Tommy 1 Is a investment banker, and has done quite well for himself! Tommy 2 is a auto mechanic and struggles every month! Both men are hard workers and love and take care of their families as best they each can!
I asked Tommy two one day a question, I said Tommy when you were growing up what did your Dad say when you asked for a toy or something?
He laughed and said I would be rich if I had a dollar for every time I heard don't you know money doesn't grow on trees!!
I asked that same question to Tommy 1 and his brother at their father's funeral here is their reply!
Dad would look at us and say, Son go find a money tree!!
Now both tommy's have very different lives because of the money beliefs that they hold in their own minds!
I shared this with you to say this, are you still holding on to a paradigm that does not serve you well?

I was riding in the car one day with Tommy 1s father. He was one of my business mentors! He had been telling me some things he thought I should do here on our ranch, and they were good ideas however they would take deeper pockets than I had at the time!

I answered JT those are some great ideas but I am just a poor boy! Now I said that just as a figure of speech! But he took it real slammed on the brakes and stopped his car in the middle of the highway! I will never forget this he put his hand on my shoulder and said.

James poor is a state of mind!! Broke is only a temporary position!!!

I was floored that has been the most significant thing anyone has ever said to me!

It changed my way of thinking about money and changed my life!

I had to realize that the paradigm that I had about money was not what I wanted, and I changed they way I think about money and success.
