My husband supports me and has worked 1 1/2 jobs to support me as I build my online business and photography. He has faith in me and knows my commitment to our financial independence and success.

When I home-schooled my children, he was 100% supportive and helped in many ways. Even though he worked full time, he was a home school dad, just as I was a full time home school mom. In fact, if you don't have the support of your husband, it is impossible to effectively home-school your children.

A marriage or committed relationship is a team effort. It does take being supportive and encouraging towards each other. We each have our own goals and dreams in life. And it really helps to have a life partner, a soul mate, who really understands your own hopes in life.

I firmly believe that without the support of my wife I would have given up striving to better myself years ago also, my support for my wife when she needs it is vital. Mutual respect, support, compromise and friendship has culminated in 48 years of very happy marriage, two wonderful and successful children and one amazing grandchild. Long may the story continue!
