My Wealthy Affiliate Experience

When I registered for a free Wealthy Affiliate account, I was through the initial free training in about 24 hours. This is not because I am some genius or something like that. The reason was because I had arrived at wealthy Affiliate with a niche, keywords, site and website structure all ready completed.

Having this all ready completed was a big boost in flying through the free training. I watched every video and made sure I had carried out each task to ensure that every thing was set up correctly. What I am grateful for from this training is the keyword research module and the file structure module.

The keyword module and the introduction to Jaaxy highlighted that my main keywords are correct for my niche, and my secondary keywords for a related niche will need to be re-assessed as they are in highly competitive markets. The benefit of identifying these keywords now meant I will not have to waste precious time in building content for these competitive keywords. This could have potentially been months of work wasted. For that alone I am eternally grateful.

The module on setting the structure of your site was particularly helpful for me as i had forgotten to put my about me page and my privacy page into the blog. I copied the privacy policy that kyle offers, which once again saved me time searching for something comparable.

Today I decided to take advantage of the upgrade special offer and have started the level two training. Module 1 I skimmed through as I had all this previously set up and I am now carrying out the tasks at the end of module one.

Once I finish this post I will be asking the community to provide me feed back on my current projects structure so I can begin filling out the quality content. :)

Update 14/11/2013

I added one page of content, to the alkaline diet page, created an image about the acid alkaline ph scale and uploaded to http://thealkalineway.net/the-alkaline-way-concept/alkaline-foods. While researching foods. I discovered a site which lists a ton of foods and their alkaline/acid properties. Using this information I am 50% of the way through creating an ebook which people will be able to download free as a ready re-conner for what foods to eat more of and what foods to eat less of. I will use this e-book as a bribe to register for my e-mail list.

Update 16/11/2013

I have added partially to the detoxification page and searching for where to get quality photographs for the e-book and website, I have 3 options so far which I am assessing once chosen I will let you know the results.

Update 19/11/2013

Last Thursday I ordered 4 articles around 4 of my keywords. I reviewed these articles and have placed these articles onto the appropriate pages on the site. Today I will format these articles into more readable form and look for more images and perhaps get some video footage created for each of the pages.

I am a bit excited. Ive put a heap of images on various pages, added the free e-book image and linked it to an auto responder. Ive created my first blog post for the site. Coming up I need to complete adding the images to the site and the free e-book and complete more of the pages.

Well the first blog post for the site is out, and its called Why be more alkaline, the second blog post is in works and is titled how to check your ph levels and should be released today. In other news I just checked my site ranking and things are starting to move. When I first checked the site position for the main keyword it was around position 50. Today I had a look and it was position 36.

What do you think of the way Google lists the site.

Well I have had 5 weeks holiday which included a 10 day cruise on the Carnival Spirit to the pacific island. What a great way to recharge the batteries.

Last year I was on course 2 lesson 7 which is find 5 keywords, write a blog post about the key word and share the post with the community. This was completed 4 days ago. Here is the post http://thealkalineway.net/alkaline-diet-food-list can u guess the keyword ?

I have added my g+ authorship to the site https://plus.google.com/u/0/+JamesWoodsf added a few WA people to my g+ account and tried to answer some questions from other WA people.

Now I need to complete the pages on my website and begin progress course 3.

Over the next month I need to add breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack recipes to the site. I need to create the meditation video's and look at writing the content for the newsletter.
