I have no experience photograph the moon. The first time I try to take photos of the moon. I have to read more about this topic. I may need some filters or a different kind of objective.

Great .. here is my pic .. I have not downloaded my pics from the camera into the computer yet .. so this is taken with iPhone of the pic in my cameras viewer so not high quality .. taken in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia where I live (I am Australian). Cheers.
Yes it was amazing .. the definition is better on the Nikon shot .. this is just iPhone .. I was lucky, there were a lot of clouds but they disappeared for about 15 minutes! Cheers, William.
