Indexed in Google

I just checked my email and was very happy to see that my site has been indexed in Google. I was starting to wonder when that would happen, but then yesterday I noticed that I had overlooked something in Wordpress...
Before I bought my domain, I decided to change my niche from what I first went with when initially setting up my siterubix site. Fortunately there wasn't much to do over since I made the change before I even created my first post on the site (besides the About post), but I realized yesterday that I forgot to update the home page settings for the All in One SEO plugin in Wordpress. The home title, description, and keywords were all still set up for the old niche,
I updated those yesterday, and got indexed today, so I figure that was at least part of why it hadn't happened yet. Now I'm going to keep creating content and moving through the training. I'm sure getting to the first page of Google won't happen nearly as quickly as getting indexed, but regardless, it's cool to reach another small milestone today.
Hope everyone is enjoying the process and progressing toward your goals...
