Emotionally drained.niche problems and more.
well here I am with 2 days left of my prem. That's not the problem tho. Even tho I won't be coming back until the dreaded IRS gives me my taxes it just gives me time to research my initial plan/niche.truth is I'm dirt poor, financially skrewed. Just like so many of us if not all, but its ok because after the struggle I'm sure I'll have a different perspective on life.let's move on before I go off topic.
Anyways when I first joined WA I was excited, I love wa I still am but I'm just overwhelmed with my run of bad luck iv been having this year.with all th studying iv been doing here at WA and learning about online marketing/affiliate stuff I just now have a basic idea of a niche I might succeed in. Now when I started I did the wa affiliate bootcamp and finished it besides the ppc campaigns and made a blog to promote it i just don't see myself succeeding in that sort of field.then I started to really think about all the niche's out there and even tho I'm one of Amazon's affiliate members I don't want to choose 1 product to promote or pick a subject like technology and have a site dedicated to a crapload of reviews for each product" at least not yet". One of my niche thoughts was of course one if those earn money from home deals and have reviews for survey site's but I'm not sure if that's a good idea I see so many of them on Google and I don't have a longterm goal for that"was just an idea",
Then about 2 weeks ago a possible longterm niche struck me out of nowhere. But this niche will be broad...very broad...mainly because this particular niche will not be a blog but a full blown website. What is this niche and what are some of my idea's?
Christianity.. Why u ask? Well it will benefit me spirituality cause i desperately need it and it benefit and be helpful to.
First possible content/article and post ideas.
Thought it would be cool to have 10 categories for each of the 10 commandments and base each category from daily news/stories from worldly events taking place.
Have a forum.
Have a what if page for what if post for example "what if Adam and eve never ate the apple" and have members comment there thoughts.maybe do this one every wendsday .call it what if wendsday.
I'll have a personal help page that offers programs for dealing with depression for example, and have Bible versus as well as possible affiliate program products.
After some of that content is done I'll add a store page. Still thinking how to do this one but it will most likely be Christian books,movies ect.ect. unsure about how to make reviews for each product and how to set up the page so Google don't flag me for crazy amount of affiliate links.
Now there are few other ideas I have but I'm still working out the ideas like adding Christian mingle and being an affiliate for them.
I figured work on content before trying to set up a shop to give possible members the idea I'm not trying to only sell products but I also want to give them a nice experience and hopefully link them to what there searching for whether its news or a product.
I'm still trying to come up with idea's but now that I actually have written all this down and written a lot of the training I'll need to do for this from WA.
I have a .com domain in mind but since my prem is expired on the 29th I have couple of days to brush up on the vids here and write back to this blog.
Since membership will expire I spent the last week searching for a host provider to work on this niche and after hundreds of searching and reviewing for a non eig provider that is decent for under $10 a month I found

AAlso the reason I chose a broad niche like this is mostly because I can create endless content.

I have been emotionally and physically drained from web work; honestly though, I would rather work at the computer than anything else. Just gotta take it in steps.
I just joined a couple of days ago, so I don't want to break any rules by suggesting a hosting company. Obviously you are doing it cause the trial is up and you can't afford the second month Premium? I suspect this happens for some and then an alternative is needed. One thing I noticed with WA though is that the sites and the monitoring are sort of all inclusive so it helps to have what we need all in one place.
I don't see anything "wrong" with this site you chose; it is not the one I currently use but also not sure if it is ok that I say what company I use so I have to research the rules here before I start saying all that.
Your niche is popular. I hope though that it is something you are actually interested in and are not just choosing it because it is "popular". If we go that route eventually our visitors will know we are not authentic in our intentions and it won't take off.
Once others chime in and/or I find out if it is ok to talk about other hosting plans I will put in my opinion again.
FYI I plan to move all my sites to WA eventually as they all begin to take off as I am just finishing designing them.

Ty for the reply. Actually kyle mentioned somewhere that it was ok to transfer my site to another hosting site until I can re new my sub.one of the higher ranking members suggested nameforcheap hosting but its to much for me to afford. Carson one of the co owner's mentioned in someone's blog that it was ok yet I can't find that blog again was a real old blog tho.
Wasn't to sure how popular this niche is but I remember kyle saying do something that your passionate about and after really putting some thought into it this particular niche is the only one I can say I'd enjoy doing. It actually got to the point I wasn't thinking of making money off this cause I was having to much fun thinking of the stuff I wanted to do with the site. In fact I'll be saving the store for last.
Personally I wished WA had a option for just the hosting.their hosting is unlike any others out there.
Is there a way for us to talk like through our email? I am not interested in promoting anything I am not supposed to and don't know the rules for sure yet but I do want to tell you what I am using right now cause it is a good company. The thing is that when some companies say "unlimited" sites, you can indeed have unlimited sites but not all files are backed up automatically where here at WA I believe we are guaranteed this. So that is why eventually I just may move all my sites to WA.
Also I need to figure out the email for each of these sites so that may be an issue.
So since one of the concepts of affiliate marketing is to have more than one site and ideally . . . many sites, (same or different niches) then the goal for having multiple sites and having mine here and safe and backed up is what I want.
I think it is a great idea for you to start with one and get it going and you surely do indeed have lots of content in this niche, from Bible writings to questions answered to outlooks and it sounds great. Funny how it was right in front of you all the time and glad you discovered it!
Most hosts only charge like $4-8 per month. Is that too much? See if you can find a button to do a month to month hosting cause they will automatically "present" the full payment for a year and make you search for the drop down menu where you can then choose to only pay by the month.
FYI if you got the domain at NameCheap then it would be easiest to go get hosting there or where ever you bought the domain so just call and see what the least expensive plan is that they offer.
