Progress so far
So far I'm happy with what WA has helped me to create, but it's still a work in progress. A big shout out to Kyle and Carson for the amazing website and learning experience. I have always wanted to create a website of my own and just didn't know how to go about it, so now I'm well on my way there.
I have high goals, but I'm not posting them because I would rather set low achievable goals at this time. My main focus with my website is to help people to be prepared for life changing incidents, that alone is satisfying.
I would love to get stinking rich off my internet entrepreneurship, but for now if I could make enough money to make the bills and have a little extra would be fine with me.
Here's a link to my site, I hope you'll check it out and give me some constructive criticism, both positive and negative comments welcomed.
Thanks and good luck to everyone.

Agree on being prepared. Living in Hawaii we are vulnerable to any disruption in our supply lines. I try to stock food and water for my family for a month. Financial resilience is important too. That is what we are trying to achieve with our internet business. I am promoting the Hawaii Hazard Awareness and Resilience Program which is a comprehensive program to promote community resilience. I know of at least two MLM programs that promote long term storage food. MLM, provided you find a good one, is the key to long term recurring income and the internet is IMO the best way to promote an MLM. Just be sure the food is prepared and packaged in the USA. I don't trust products from China.
I'm big on freeze dried food, it's very light weight in case you have to bug out.. The less weight you have to carry the more energy you save...
This is the best I have found. http://bit.ly/1ABtRRC They pay a 12% commission on sales you refer.
Thanks, I'm plugging along slowly but it's getting there... I have more content I want to add, so check back...

Amazon is a good affiliate because the drop ship for you. Commission is lousy though. Need to promote high end products to make any money. You site looks good. My niche is resilient living; personal, financial and community. I plan to develop appropriate information materials and sell using Fiverr with appropriate upsells. I can also consult to local businesses. 80% of businesses that are down for two weeks will never recover. Every business I know needs a Emergency Response Plan. The market is huge. Making them aware of their need is what we have to do. BillSager@workingtogether.tips.
