My Favorite Brain Games.
I want to tell you about my favorite "Active Brain" games. I have been playing Mahjongg for about 8 years, and I believe that this particular game has helped me retain a lot of memory ability.
I started playing Mahjongg on Facebook and now I have several versions downloaded on my tablets.
My favorite is Mahjongg Journey and Mahjongg games.
In case you aren't familiar with it, the game consists of a field of different tiles. The objective is to match pairs of tiles as quickly as possible to reach the golden tiles. Once you have golden tiles with an open side, click on them and that will reveal your score.
This is a daily exercise for me and I try to beat my scores to get faster.
I believe this helps because I will be 72 years old this year and my memory is actually quite good.
Try it sometime when you are looking for something different and relaxing to do. I think you will like it.

You know you have patience...lol. Anyone who can put up with trying to help me..has to have patience.
With a very few things I am patient. In most cases I have close to zero with the unfortunate health side effects to show for it.

I, too, love to play Mahjong. I play several versions including timed challenges. I believe it helps to keep my gray matter active, LOL! I have had a couple of doctors tell me that it has and is probably helping me overcome memory loss from Fibromyalgia, as well as healing damage from minny strokes that I have experienced. Puzzles of any kind are beneficial, according to my therapist, but Mahjong has been my favorite for many years. I play everyday for an hour or so :)
