I want to tell you about my favorite "Active Brain" games. I have been playing Mahjongg for about 8 years, and I believe that this particular game has helped me retain a lot of memory ability.
I started playing Mahjongg on Facebook and now I have several versions downloaded on my tablets.
My favorite is Mahjongg Journey and Mahjongg games.

In case you aren't familiar with it, the game consists of a field of different tiles. The objective is to match pairs of tiles as quickly as possible to reach the golden tiles. Once you have golden tiles with an open side, click on them and that will reveal your score.
This is a daily exercise for me and I try to beat my scores to get faster.
I believe this helps because I will be 72 years old this year and my memory is actually quite good.
Try it sometime when you are looking for something different and relaxing to do. I think you will like it.
