Reaching End of Level 2

Hello WA community.

Here I am, today with only three weeks in the community and more motivated than I was the day I found you all.

I have to admit; I was quite sceptical at first, so I swore to myself that I wasn't going to spend any money here until one of two things happened: I felt limited by what's offered in the free membership level and wanted to continue, or I was convinced that this is a viable way to build income.

While I did find a coulple of limitations as a free member, I realized that, if I wanted to, I could continue on this site endlessly, even learning more than what is offered in the first level of training by reading other people's posts, without paying a dime.

That fostered a lot of trust within me. Sure, I'd bet that ther's a sytem where I'd continue to get messages from WA tempting me to go premium, but I also realize that they are GIVING me something. It's not unreasonable of them to remind me of the benefits of being apremium member.

Glad to Meet You! What's Your Niche?

So far, I created two websites, but I'm only servicing one.

I've had bariatric (read: weight loss) surgery and I began writing about some of the trials I've had in both preparing for the surgery and life after the surgery. I decided that I have a slightly different angle because my wife has also had bariatric surgery and is having a completely different experience than I am.

Whiile we are both losing (and have lost a LOT of weight), I was taken completely off ALL prescribed medications and, well, she wasn't. She struggles malnurishment while I have been told that ther are nutrients I am consuming too much of. She can eat any food that she's ever eaten and I now have a growing list of foods that cause a great deal of discomfort.

Yeah, differnet experiences!

So, I've already got 5 articles written, 4 have been published, each covering some different aspect of bariatric health. but, along the way, I discovered that there are a great number of other people with the same dietary demands, such as ketogenic dieters, diabetics and some low carb dieters, This caused me to decide to address low carbers and diabetes sufferers. I will consider the Keto group if I decide it's big enough.

Goals and Aspirations: Using the Light Bulb Over My Head for Guidance

So for now, my 3 month goals are to just keep writing. I plan to write 3 articles per week, hoping to be up to 30 articles by the end of the year. Going 6 months out, I expect it will take longer to write as I will be stretching to write only what I know about, so 50 Articles by the end of March 2019.

Financially speaking, I do have lofty long term goals, but they are reasonable. I don't want to talk about those here because that's a real long, curving tunnel that I can't see the end of from here, So I'm just using my idea light to help me keep walking in the right direction..

I became a 1-year paid member on October 19, so, I am giving myself 3 months (from my first day) to learn how this can make money, another three months to earn any money at all and another 6 months for this part of my life to be able to self-fund.

I would be willing to continue forever after that.

If it doesn't happen that way, then it cost me $360 to learn all about this thing that people do and I will be good with that. I've learned a lot less in a one semester class in college for a heck of a lot more money than that (I had one class cost nearly $1,100.00 in JUST BOOKS!).

I am extremely happy to have found this community! I honestly feel like I am part of you and now, that you are part of me. We will do this all by ourselves and together at the same time.

Here's to every single person's success and her's to the success of us all!

if you need some copy for your bariatric articles I can tell you my story about the lap band surgery I experienced and why I had it removed after 2 years. Your readers might be interested in that if they are trying to make a decision about the various bariactric options....I think your idea is a good one. Also you have a good way with words from what I have read thus far.

Hi John

Thank you for the like.

I had back surgery 31/2 years ago. It didn't go well. I was on opioids for a long time. My doctor cut me off them cold turkey. I went through terrible withdrawals, and lost 25 pounds.

Your subject sounds very good to me. In fact , it has given me an idea which I choose not to share at this time.

You have some great comments on here. Listen to them.

Chuck

Keep Up the great work

Sounds like you have a solid plan and goals, and are working steadily towards them. Thats awesome and a recipe for success. Keep up the good work, and best of success to you.
