Distractions Are everywhere

Distractions Are everywhere. I have noticed my old ways creeping back in over the last few weeks...And I don't like it!! It goes like this...well maybe work on that over the weekend you'll have more time....Well it's getting a bit late to start that...let's do it in the morning...So I find myself falling into those non productive habbits...even though I know I should push on I allow the old lazy procrstinator in to do the dirty work. My mind and body want so desperately to make this work...so that someday I can quit my job and the only person holding me back is ME!!!!..Crazy really to think that we make such efforts to screw ourselves over...The little you wants to stay the same..Doesn't want change, likes everything predictable...The BIG YOU..The authentic you want's change and exciterment...wants to thrive to be challenged to keep growing and learning new things. So why do we allow the little ""you"" to call the shots??? Maybe it's just something that we have to deal with on a day to day basis...Maybe we have to view the little voice like a frightened little child and instead of berating him or her take a different approach and love it death. I do believe once i get some real momentum behind me the authentic me will shine through and the little me will dissolve.

Consider starting small - say 10 or 15 minutes/day working on your site. You'll start seeing progress which will feel so good, it will make you want more and it will become easier to work on your site, more of a priority in your life. It's just developing the habit. It's not an unusual problem, but we all know you can do this. Baby steps are a great way to start.

Sometimes we are too hard on ourselves, perhaps we can allow ourselves to indulge once in a while.

I relate this business to changing eating habits. We can eat healthy for a while then we allow ourselves to fall back into the old ways.

But one trick I have learned on the diet side is that the occasional self indulgence makes for a more committed person (committed to changing a lifelong habit of eating less than well!)

Trick is to be able to apply this concept to our online businesses.
I try, I find it hard but I am getting better at doing it all the time.

Good luck

I followed the training and the steps and I received a deposit for my first paid website build this week! And I have two other design projects in the pipeline!
