Andy's Updates - Getting Back to Routines

Hey folks, Andy Anderson, theBlogMan AKA IncomeLegion here with a long time no see me post.

A quick update here on where I have been and what I am doing in this journey since my Mid-February Hernia Surgery that went from going in to repair 3 and finding 11 hernia. Needless to say, my downtime was prolonged a bit, and that caused all sorts of problems with a rudderless ship and low communication. Without me or someone I could trust to run the business, my earnings, for example, tanked.

When last we talked, I was getting ready to launch theBlogMan Academy on Skool.

Skool has been fun and shows massive potential as an owned stream of revenue. I have earned directly from Skool around $30, but I can scale this to so much more. The $30 is the result of an Ad Co-op for the launch that had some other exposure benefits, too.

I also wrote my first book on blogging with the Aid of AI and have it for sale in an exclusive deal with a new Beta Social Network for Business Owners. I have already sold my first copy to one of the other Beta Test members and earned another $1 or $2 from a task on site. The book is currently just over $9 paid in Algorand, a type of cryptocurrency that is currently selling at 13 cents per coin.

Being, I was barely online for a couple of months and half that time with my phone instead of a PC, I didn't log in a lot or do much content here at WA. I have lost close to $100 a month in member rewards earnings not being logged in here daily. That changes now that I am sitting again, and a few software bugs have been addressed with my Laptop.

In the time since we last talked, I dropped my business partner of over 5 years and downsized my network of websites, including shutting the doors after 3 years and 11,000 members on the poorly monetized Kiosk Social. Sadly, the software used for the script to power the community was not being updated as fast as security needs were opening. As a result, we were fighting a 5-hour-a-day battle just to stop scams, porn, and gambling sites being posted from half a world away.

My partner and I are both Bipolar and both had different views on what each of us should have been doing each day. We were butting heads enough that, with administering 7 sites while building out social and blog content, I was close to another nervous breakdown. So much so, I took almost all of March off from my business, doing only daily minimums and checking in twice here and around 20-25 actions a day online.

I just updated the new blog for the latest changes at theBlogMan Academy, which is now theBlogMan Academy of Content Creation. I started the group, looking to move directly to the paid membership, and found that only one of the people who originated from Kiosk Social was worth more than wanting something for nothing. I have since changed us to a Freemium Format where basic membership, multiple classes, and peer support are free, with a choice of other lessons for pay as you go or a monthly $17 membership for all classrooms.

I had to downgrade from the Pro membership with all the bells and whistles until I restore lost revenues. I am now on Skool's $9 monthly Hobby Plan, and it doesn't allow an affiliate program or several nice things like a moderator that could really help with managing stress with growth. Goal 2 here is to get income restored and grow to cover the $99 a month plan again, preferably to pay by the year ASAP, and save 2 months of membership.

Wealthy Affiliate. I am coming back ASAP to daily activity here as well. I probably won't be as active as I was at the end of last year, but I will be aiming to get an extra $30-$60 a month coming in from activity rewards. I also miss my contests, and am looking forward to the launch of the mystery site Kre8tor Kyle mentioned in his latest post.

On theBlogMan Blog, I look to add a minimum of one new post per week, the topics will be like prequels to training and discussions in the community, and will pair with a promotion page and eventual Free Report and Newsletter that will also promote the community on Skool.

Books X2 will be written soon. I am deciding which topic for a Free Report to really drive the Free and Paid members both into the community. The second actual for-sale book will also come out before November as well.

Monetizing with AI-driven blog-related tools and training from companies like Wealthy Affiliate and RightBlogger, and automation tools like AWeber are on the affiliate income stream, and owned products like my books, theBlogMan Academy of Content Creation membership, and course sales, as well as hosting through my reseller store are what I am working with now.

I hope I didn't bore you, but a lot has happened in the past nearly 4 months, and it all happened to get me out of a rut, save my sanity, make my business manageable and profitable, while healing my mind and body.
