StumbleUpon is Increasing My Traffic!

That beats out Twitter, Facebook, Yahoo! Answers, Street Articles, and all the rest. All with the click of button on a site I did nothing but join.
I've been using StumbleUpon for the past few months, and I've been discovering a lot of unique and interesting sites with it, but it never occurred to me what kind of impact it could have if I were to make my own site a Stumble. Now it's become clear that this is a very powerful avenue for generating traffic, and I'm inclined to think moreso than any other social bookmarking site.
I still have to investigate StumbleUpon a bit more. It appears that the Stumble only lasts a day or so -- on the day you post it -- so the traffic burst doesn't last forever, and if you keep reposting the page you can be marked for spam. However, while Stumbling, I've wound up on certain sites time and again, if on a different landing page each time, so obviously the discrimination is against repeat Stumbles on pages, not from the site itself. It appears the secret is to keep making fresh pages and turning them into Stumbles, thus keeping people coming back to your site. In other words, it's no different from Tweeting every new article or blog I publish. The only difference is my reach is much larger! It's almost like a mailing list if you think about it along those lines.
It's interesting how very little discussion there is about StumbleUpon around here and other communities. I've seen sites with hundreds of thousands -- read, 100k+ -- stumbles on a single page. These are not popular sites! The Stumble approach is an approach indeed.
