How to Write an Article in Minutes

Not too long ago, I remember BIS said that she cranked out over a dozen articles or something on a daily basis. That one got me.

I mean, seriously! Not monthly, not weekly, but daily! Yeesh.

I mentioned it in another blog, but lately I've been down in the dumps and having a hard time motivating myself to create content. News like that can really wake you up.

I'm slowly moving out of that phase. My aim is to put 300 pages of content on my site, and although I haven't started or even know how to start, I'm sticking to it.

Interestingly, before putting out a single new page of training (it's an authority site), I find myself cranking out articles on Street again. Just an hour ago, I wrote a full-fledged 400-word article, and half an hour after that, another 400-word, high-quality article. Both are now pending. Both are keyword-targeted and include natural backlinks.

How did I crank out articles that fast and that numerous? The same way BIS did, I believe.

Step 1) I sat down
Step 2) I found a low-hanging keyword using WA's keyword research tool
Step 3) I wrote whatever came to mind, focusing on the positives of the keyword, such as what ideas one could come up with with a "template for coming up with stories"
Setp 4) I threw in a link where it looked appropriate and submitted

It. Is. That. Easy.

I don't even remember why I had a hard time writing articles. It's probably something to do with being a perfectionist. Although I want to submit to sites like Ezinearticles, I find myself miffed at the prospect of going through a new submission process and daunted by the idea of running out of ideas. I still need to submit a quota to street to get the platinum ranking, after all.

Anyway, that'll all probably change once I start hitting ten articles a day myself. :D

My advice for today: when you find a good keyword, write a good article right away. There's more training on WA that'll probably help you out with the specifics, but I guarantee the process is that simple no matter what or how you're writing.

Side note: There's a quote related to the whole "how to write" thing that I'm starting to hear more and more often, and now I fully believe it. Step one of writing will always be: "apply seat of pants to chair."

Great advice! Taking action is always the first step!

Good one - agree to the approach - from someone who is a perfectionist and is working hard to avoid this in writing his articles!

Hudson

Definitely consider a different approach. The mindset is all about marketing your site, not winning awards.

Yeah , but I want to write an article including products that I have not yet gotten affiliates for. I need content for my site. Any suggestions on how I might do that? And how I could become an affiliate of a certain company if I did?

Lol! Love "apply seat of pants to chair" Thanks for the needed motivation! I often plan on writing content for my site or an article and find that I get distracted by everything else around me before I can even get to the computer. Then I wonder where all the time went later!

Great write! Thank you for sharing and motivating us!

My pleasure!

"apply seat of pants to chair"? that is hilarious. I really enjoyed reading this, and it gave me much needed motivation my good sir, Could you further explain the template of coming up with good stories, that sounds helpful.

Lol sure. The template is as follows:

The story starts when [character A] does [activity B].

Another [character x] is [descripion y].

Example off the top of the brain:

The story starts when a school bully is hit by a car.

Another character is a doctor who used to be a bully in school.

And there's your story. You can use this template to come up with pretty much any story you like.

I am so glad you are getting out of your slump. Thanks for this post. I find that if I just do it, make sure it makes sense, and make sure it is clean and neat, it all works out. I was fretting too much over this and that, instead of just writing. I realize now that the more I write, the better I'll get. I hope so anyway! LOL However, there is one thing that I DO know. If I don't get it out there no one will know me or know what I have to offer them!

Thanks and come here when you feel down and let us help you! I'm proud that you got two written in such short time! Have a GREAT week!

Thanks, and yeah, that's always sort of been the secret to becoming a better writer, hasn't it? Quantity over quality.
