My eBook is Done-Finally!
Hello everyone,
I am proud to say that my ebook is finally done and published! They say the first time around is always the hardest! The writing of the book wasn't that difficult but it did take some time. I started from an outline and built it out from there. While writing the book, I had the cover designed. Then, once I was done writing I had it edited three times--just to be sure. I then wrote an overview for a back cover should I want to publish it as a hard copy some time in the future.
One the hardest steps though was making sure the format would come across correctly in the various mobile formats! That took many tries to get it all right!
The next thing that is challenging is publishing across four platforms--Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords and LuLu which publish across a multitude of platforms.
In retrospect, the hardest thing was simply following through! It took me a year to finally get here. Perhaps there was a little fear of the unknown but that's how we make progress by forging ahead anyway!
The reason I share this here with all of you is that I will be building a website to support my books. From all the concepts I have learned here, this is the easy part now!
