Windows 10 Anniversary Update
If you've got Windows 10, then you may already have had the Anniversary Update. Microsoft's new updates are all done automatically unlike in previous versions where you could postpone them, do them at a more convenient time or even not install them at all.
I had the update the other morning and didn't know it until I'd switched on my laptop and it started updating and continued for about 80 minutes. This was a bit of a surprise because I was going to do some work and couldn't! However, I now have an updated operating system, which on the surface is only a little different from its previous incarnation.
So if it has to happen to you yet ...expect some downtime!

A lot for me, I had update issues, but in the end, all was resolved and the update actually fixed some recurring problems I had been having. Glad you survived!
It was the time element that stopped me in my tracks when I really wanted to get something done. At least it is in now and I can get on with things!

I really dislike that about the new Windows 10! Grrr
I also hate Windows Live email...i have lost emails in the past moving them from junk to inbox. Completely disapppeared. And I think I found the issue...there are two tabs for the inbox: focused and other. I'm still trying to figure this thing out, but I hate it! Lol
Plus, I can't get my WA email set up on it.
Windows 10...would not recomment. And have no way to contact anyone for helo!

I use Outlook on my PC and don't use the online version. I have to say that otherwise, Windows 10 is growing on me!
Slowly but surely it's growing on me as well but I hate that it updates when it wants and that the new email program sucks. I prefer the old Outlook.
