0.5 Million Chance
2 days ago I found out that my baby who is now almost 8 months old has a rare genetic condition (affects 1 in 500,000.00 babies) called PMD. He will lose the use of his arms and legs, probably never speak and will need assistance breathing and eating. The prognosis is not good.
My life has changed over night and I am in shock to say the least. As members of WA we probably all agree that it is a dream of ours to make a full time income by working online. This is one of my goals now more than ever. Because if I was able to do this then the huge financial weight that we have on our shoulders would not be such a worry. I find myself thinking about surviving on one income, providing the special equipment that he will need and the reality of never being able to have a 'day job' to meet these financial needs. But by working on my website, learning, and in turn helping other members at WA, I have a hope that one day (I am patient), making even a small amount of money is possible.

I am so heartbroken to hear about your baby boy. I'm so sorry. Try to have faith and to keep your positive attitude. I know that sounds like such a hard thing to do right now. Type anytime you need another piece of "therapy". I know it may not seem like much at this point, but you have friends here. Faraway perhaps in body, but not in spirit. Best Regards to you and yours.

Heather, words seem so meaningless and pointless when a mom aches for her baby. I am praying for His steady hand to guide you through what is to come, His embracing arms to protect and love your baby boy, and for your WA career to grow and flourish so that you can be home and provide for your family.
